GIL SCOTT HERON,estratta dal suo ultimo album "I'm New Here".
scomparso solo pochi giorni fa, a pochi mesi dall' uscita del suo nuovo disco.
Un simbolo per la scena internazionale.
Un blues man maledetto, che dopo aver sconfitto la povertà, e il razzismo verso gli afroamericani del secolo 900, di cui è stato una voce militante.
Dopo aver sconfitto la droga, e i guai con la legge.
Dopo aver abbracciato, incontrato, e padroneggiato tutti gli stili musicali possibili, gettando inconsapevolmente le le basi, di una scena chiamata RAP,
Dopo una vita che sembrava offrirgli una nuova meritatissima opportunità, purtroppo il nostro GIL si è dovuto arrendere all' AIDS, della quale era affetto ormai da diversi anni.

B I O:
Dudawles began his journey into electronic music as a dj/producer in early 2009. Things moved fast from then on as he got the change to play several gigs alongside djs like Logistics, Ed Rush, Lenzman, BTK, Cyantific, Electrosoul System, Subwave and so on. His productions also started getting noticed and got played in radio shows and podcasts world wide. He's got some releases out and has prepared a few goodies for 2011as well. Be sure to keep an eye out for this young gun!

'Here we are with another massive release firmed Erba records , a three tracks release ; the tune on the front side is the life sweet remix , a tune made of deep bass , fat percussions, involving melodies and of course the Kartel voice,all mixed in an absolutely fresh style ; the first tune on the b-side , the booty clap remix , is inspired by the jamaican dance hall style that turn into a crazy futuristic deep sound that with his pressing rhythmics and a fat bass will smash every dancefloor! the last tune is a rielaboration of an old dub tune ''conquering lions'' made by Yabby Yu;this tune have heavy wobble basses , fat snares , stomper kik,in short , everything you need to bring the fire in the club!This is the fourth release of the label.'

La NUMA CREW è un collettivo di DJs, produttori e MCs che nasce a
Firenze e si consolida con la formazione attuale nel 2007.
Rappresenta la prima e più importante realtà dubstep in Italia che nel 2007 diventa DJ resident del “Mud club” a Firenze, dal quale passano nomi di punta dell'emergente scena dubstep internazionale, tra i quali Skream, Dj Hatcha, N-type e Youngsta.
Dalla collaborazione con Simone Fabbroni e Tuzzy nasce il progetto discogafico Elastica con il quale, tra il 2007 e il 2009, Numa Crew pubblica 5 dischi collaborando con Zion Train, Madaski, Asian Dub Foundation, Casino Royale, Lnripley.
Nel 2008 esce un ep per la “Foulplay” (Miami).
Nel 2008 ERBA records, marchio di fabbrica interamente Numa Crew e distribuita da nuurban music, che fa uscire 3 release bootleg in due anni (Herbalist / Gangsta nuh play / Police in helicopter).
Nel 2009 nasce “Erba” dedicata ai bootleg; è la prima etichetta
gestita autonomamente dalla crew e distribuita da nuurban music.
Nel 2010 nasce una collaborazione con la label tedesta “Police in
helicopter” con la quale escono 2 ep.
Nel 2011 la crew lavora su altri progetti discografici e dando vita a
due nuove etichette: “Voodoo Rebel” e “Nu Mass”.
Dal 2010 Numa crew suona a cadenza mensile su SUB.FM, importante
webradio nell'ambito dubstep.

Ad oggi si sono esibiti in numerosi paesi europei tra cui Italia,
Germania, Francia, Romania, Inghilterra, Austria, Bulgaria così come all'Outlook Festival 2010 in Croazia e in diversi paesi dell'America Latina (Colombia, Bolivia, Argentina e Messico) ed hanno condiviso la console con grandi nomi della scena internazionale quali The Bug & Flowdan, Dub FX, Dj Zinc, Headhunter,Distance, Roska, Dj Hatcha.

VIRAL BASS night nasce da un'idea di Kursk (aka R. Petitti) dj veterano
della scena romana, per otto anni patron (insieme ad Andrea Lai) della
leggendaria serata Agatha al Brancaleone. La crew si forma dall'incontro
di Kursk con Cukiman e Pier, durante degli show radiofonici domenicali
trasmessi dal negozio di dischi che Kursk gestisce. I tre, scandagliando
i meandri della dance undergound inglese, sono stati catturati
irreversibilmente da quei suoni che poi sarebbero stati catalogati come
dubstep. Le loro borse sono un distillato in vinile di post-ukgarage,
grime, jungle, dubstep e più in generale tutto ciò che è ritmo e basse
frequenze. Nelle stagioni precedenti, Viral night ha avuto il piacere di
ospitare artisti emergenti che poi sarebbero diventati delle superstar:
Rusko, Silkie, L.D., Mark 1, Bass Clef, Scratcha DVA, Disrupt (Jahtari)
e molti altri. Quest'anno la terza stagione, Viral continua la sua missione.

Meze nasce tra Londra e il Nord Africa. Con diversi pseudonimi il suo sound e' ormai in giro da tempo. Lo abbiamo visto esibirsi con artisti del calibro di Ital Tek, Darkstar, Senseless Records, Subeena, Chris Clark, Venetian Snares, Mark One, Tape, Tim Exile, Darcangelo, Barberos, DeVille, Stig Noise MMX, Global Goon e collaborare con il collettivo Bradford Bahamas di Nitin Lachani di base a Londra. Suoni glitch, ritmiche distorte, foot-working music, cosi possiamo definire the sound of Meze. Sempre alla ricerca di nuovi strumenti e sonorita', Meze è un sperimentatore con atteggiamento ritmico. Ispirato dall' ombra di ritmiche tradizionali africane, Meze è un'identità oscura in viaggio costante. Suoni graffianti, strobo light ed atmosfere mozza fiato.

AwakesnakE aka AWKSK, risale la spina dorsale del suo percorso musicale, fin dall' inizio del 2000.
Percussionista autodidatta, appassionato di strumenti e musiche, tribali e folk, inizia a confrontarsi con la sintesi e la produzione, all'interno della scena IDM e Breack-Noise-Industrial, ma con un dormiente istinto per il basso, che esploderà con l' avvento della dubstep music sul panorama musicale mondiale.
Ed è grazie alla ventata Uk, che AwakesnakE ascende ai controlli della consolle, schiudendo la sua promettente attitudine per la miscelazione.
Da sempre legato a scelte musicali meditative, introspettive, sovente inquisitorie, gode di un gusto e una enorme sensibilità, per le espressioni musicali diametralmente opposte, quali reggae, dub-roots, r'nb, black, hip-hop, rap, soul, funk.
Contestualmente, approfondisce la sua cultura, frequentando il corso DAT, presso l' UM, di Roma, dove diviene operatore certificato Steimberg Cu-base, e dove consolida il suo interesse per la fisica del suono, la psicoacustica e le loro implicazioni nella produzione di qualunque genere musicale.
Il risultato, è uno stile attento alla postproduzione, alla definizione del suono e al sound design, obbligatoriamente tradotto in ritmiche la cui efficacia è antica come le origini dell' uomo.
Awakesnake, è inoltre l'ideatore e curatore del webradioshow SOLIDUSAUDIO, in onda ogni martedì alle 18:00 su Fusoradio.net e Radiosonar.net, il primo webradioshow su Roma dedicato alla scena musicale UK e alla bass music che ospita musicisti da tutto il web, e vanta partecipazioni di nomi del calibro di Bass Clef, Numa Crew, Viral Crew, Von-d e molti altri.
